New York Radio and TV Station Photos from the John in Montana Collection

The New York radio and TV stations photos from the John in Montana collection are listed in alphabetical order by call letters.

WHAM: The WHAM Radio 1180 Rochester photo is from 1972. The tower and transmitter building on Brook Road still looks the same today. WHAM came on the air in 1922.

WKBW: The WKBW Radio 1520 Buffalo photo of their 1430 Main Street location is from 1970. This building started out as a horse stable. Remodeled into a modern broadcast facility in 1951, WKBW, KB Radio, remained here until 1978. The call letters stood for "Well Known Bible Witness" when the station was started by the Churchill Evangelistic Tabernacle in 1926. The church located next to this building was the WKBW-TV studios for a number of years. WKBW Radio is now WWKB.
